Natural Capital Demand & Investment Plan
Nature South East is collating a list of Natural Capital projects taking place within the region and undertaking a demand assessment.
Natural Asset Company (NAC)
As a pilot exercise, Nature South East is undertaking a Total Economic Valuation Assessment of Surrey Natural Assets. This could potentially lead to the formation of a NAC with interested landowners.
Gross Ecosystem Product (GEP)
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust and Surrey Wildlife Trust are undertaking a joint project to conduct an initial GEP assessment of Surrey and the Isle of Wight. Findings from this exercise will help to inform potential options moving forwards.
